3 Awesome Stag Do Activities To Blow Your Mind

It’s awesome to be picked as best man for your best mates wedding but it certainly doesn’t go without some stresses and strains. Apart from worrying about the famous best man speech and whether it will a) be too boring or b) you will reveal too much and get yourself lynched by the bride or groom, there is the huge responsibility of sorting out the stag do. Not only will you have to pluck out your best ‘event organising skills’ but you will need to make sure you pick something really cool to do which will keep most people happy but ultimately meet the stag’s expectation of doing something fun and a bit ‘different’. So without further ado, here are my top 3 picks of awesome stag do activities. Before you ask, yes, all have been tried and tested by yours truly!

Airsofting

Be warned. This activity is not for the fainthearted as it is a military simulation sport. That said, Airsofting is pretty hardcore but absolutely brilliant fun, making a good alternative to paintballing and is a just as thrilling if not more. Basically, in an airsoft game you use guns that shoot metallic pellets (yes they do sting!) and you use tactics just like on a battle field where you have to flush out the enemy whilst not getting shot by them! The game is played in locations varying from woodland to built up army bases and missions vary from real life zombie scenarios to assaults on enemies or hostage rescue. Proper airsoft places should provide all the proper equipment including proper protective masks, but do make sure that you bring some decent foot wear like a pair of Lowa boots. These are great outdoor activity boots and are often used for military purposes so you will definitely feel kitted out for the part!

Water Jet Pack Experience

Wanna have a stag do experience that makes you all feel like James Bond or Jason Bourne? Well why not try the water jet pack? It really is as awesome as it sounds. Popping on the jet boots attached to a jet pack (anyone visualising Buzz Lightyear yet?) they then get filled with water that fires downwards and propels you up to 10 meters in the air above the water. Whizzing around on these jet boots is almost like being in a science fiction novel and is a proper head rush. I promise you that this is an experience not to be missed.

Bubble Football

Bubble football? What on earth is that? Well, take good old zorbing and mix it up with a little bit of football and you are pretty much there! Debuting on a Norwegian game show in 2011, this hilarious sport is really catching on across the globe. Running around playing football in a big giant bubble is one of the funniest things you can do. However, I do find that the football bit tends to go out of the window and you generally just end up tackling each other for the sheer hell of it, falling over willy nilly and bouncing around the place. Who knew head on collisions could be so much fun?

Got any awesome stag do activities to share? Feel free to leave suggestions and comments below. I look forward to reading them and hopefully getting a chance to try out some in the future. After all there is always another stag do lurking around the corner!
